Prohibited Items

In line with Islamic principles and the values of our community, the following are never allowed in any category — Shop, Food, Pharmacy, Parcel or Services.

• Alcohol and intoxicants — beer, wine, spirits, waragi, tonto, and alcohol-containing foods.
• Tobacco and smoking — cigarettes, shisha, cigars, vapes and nicotine pouches.
• Pork and pork-derived products — fresh, frozen or cooked pork, bacon, ham, sausages and pork gelatin.

Vendors listing meat must declare the animal source. Undeclared pork is removed immediately and the account reviewed.

• Narcotics and controlled substances without a valid prescription.
• Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
• Counterfeit goods and stolen property.
• Wildlife products and other items banned under Ugandan law.

• Hazardous chemicals and flammable materials that cannot be transported safely.
• Expired or unlabelled medicines.
• Prescription medicine offered without pharmacist verification.

Listing a prohibited item leads to immediate removal and account suspension or termination. Illegal items may be reported to Ugandan authorities.
